The total experience was fine, I recommend. Everything was excellent, lovely location adjacent to train station and the centre, and botanical gardens, very friendly staff. The double room was good value for money with a mountain view, so that guests had essentials. A terrace and a writing desk turned out to be good...

The noise from the busy street outside was quite disruptive and made it difficult to sleep peacefully. the lack of air conditioning in the room meant that it was quite warm and uncomfortable, especially during the hot Christmas season.
